Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet members in office, State buildings or out in the community

Train and educate members in job search skills, completing applications, resumes, advocacy in order to assist member in gaining successful employment

Assists members in preparing and attending interviews and follow up

Coordinate schedules to meet more than one member a day; shifts vary to member’s needs

Develop and build strategic positive professional partnerships with members, employers, and fellow team members.

Write clear, factual, and detailed case notes documenting your job search efforts, feedback, and member responses.

Meet all daily and weekly documentation deadlines.

Maintain frequent and open communication with management and fellow team members to ensure the highest quality of customer service possible.

Meeting members and educating them on community resources.

Provide services in accordance with members stated goals

Stay current on labor market trends and employment resources

Maintain Professional and ethical employment standards at all times

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Flexibility with schedule to meet member’s needs. May involve weekend work at times

Time management and organization skills

Microsoft Office experience

Strong writing skills with the ability to proofread and submit professional documentation

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for required travel throughout Valley

Must have a cell phone/having a laptop a plus

Ability to work independently as well as on a team

Per diem paid for Mileage

Pass a background check

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or higher and two (2) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Preferably involved in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services including job development. and/or 5 years working directly with individuals with disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour
